Resolution Of High Blood Pressure Without Drugs
Billions of words have been written on the subject of high blood pressure. There are millions upon millions of listings that come up on Google on this subject, and it would be unimaginable that one person could read it all and sort out what to do about it. But one might conclude from the number of words that it is a subject of great apprehension.
Let us define the term. High blood pressure results when there is too much resistance to the amount of blood the heart pumps. Sometimes authorities disagree about what numbers indicate blood pressure is high, and certainly the numbers have changed over the years, but all agree that high blood pressure is not good.
People who have high blood pressure often are not aware of this condition, because there are no symptoms, especially early on. But any doctor or nurse could tell you if your blood pressure is high, and nurses always check it on every office visit.
All doctors do agree that blood pressure should be brought down to a normal level, because high blood pressure can cause a lot of damage in the body. High blood pressure is known to contribute to heart attacks and strokes.
What causes high blood pressure? There can be different causes or no apparent cause. Some obvious things increase blood pressure such as smoking or being overweight.
Conventional medicine prescribes drugs to control high blood pressure. There are a myriad of different drugs that can be used, and combinations of drugs. Although the drugs are often effective in lowering blood pressure, they come with side effects. More drugs are prescribed to handle the side effects, and a patient finds himself on a dwindling spiral.
Doctors trained in alternative medicine do have solutions to high blood pressure that can be done without side effects. Hundreds of studies have shown these supplements are excellent alternatives to drugs, and do produce desired results. Coenzyme Q-10, L caritine and D-Ribose are principally successful, but there are others.
Chelation therapy is another very effective way of lowering blood pressure and preventing strokes and heart attacks. It is not a new therapy, but has been around since the 1940’s, originally used to cure lead poisoning. It used a strong antioxidant, usually delivered by IV, which binds to toxins in the body and thus allows them to be eliminated. In this process, plaque is removed from arteries, and blood circulation increases, lowering blood pressure. The therapy is administered by a doctor and is an excellent alternative to taking drugs for the rest of one’s life.
