Nail Fungus Creams – You can opt for lotions and creams. However, again these are generally ineffective since they do not eliminate nail fungus at its root cause. It is applied only to the surface and does not penetrate the nail beds.

Doctor’s Prescriptions – There are prescription medications that treat nail fungus. But bear in mind that these usually have side effects. Some of these medicines can cause liver failure, congestive heart failure, and even death. The Topical Choice
